His vision was to build affordable homes for the less fortunate in the community. No matter the size of the home or a person's income, "Mike", as was affectionately known by his customers, put quality and customer satisfaction, not as an advertising cliche', but as a steadfast philosophy that we continue to live by to this day.

Upon his death in 1981, his sons Michael and Stephen continued the business and the vision. We are a fully licensed and insured home builder and one of Savannah's premier remodelers.

Chatham Home Builders of Savannah prides itself in producing quality products with the least amount of "call back" time. We are not a production builder pumping out lesser quality homes to increase a proft line. We choose to build on a smaller scale in order to provide home-buyers with quality workmanship and the peace-of-mind that we are here if problems should arise. We stand behind our work and have done so since 1942!
